Sometimes those extra amps being pulled can do funny things to undersized wire and connector pins. Relay 1 is basically a break for the stock circuit. However i did run some wires all the way up front because i did add a relay control so i could turn them on off at will but in normal mode be activated by the backup lights.
At position 2 power goes to reverse lights. So you take the existing reverse light wire going to the reverse lights but after the transmission switch and put a relay there.
